Votera's USSD Code Is Now *920*220# — How to Vote by USSD in Ghana
Important update for every Votera voter and organizer in Ghana: our USSD voting shortcode has changed. The new Votera USSD code is *920*220#. If you have ever dialled *714# to vote, save the new number — *920*220# is the only code that works from today.
What Changed?
Votera's USSD voting shortcode is now *920*220#. The previous code, *714#, has been retired. All voting competitions on Votera — awards, beauty pageants, school elections, and reality shows — now use *920*220#.
Nothing else about USSD voting changes. It still works on any mobile phone in Ghana — no smartphone, no internet, and no app required. Payments are still made through Mobile Money on MTN, Telecel, and AirtelTigo.
How to Vote with *920*220#
Dial *920*220#
From any phone on MTN, Telecel, or AirtelTigo, dial *920*220# and press the call button. The Votera voting menu opens instantly.
Enter the Contestant ID
Every contestant has a voting ID shown on their competition page and flyers. Type the ID of the contestant you want to vote for.
Choose the Number of Votes
Select how many votes you want to cast. More votes, more support for your favourite contestant.
Approve the Mobile Money Prompt
Approve the Mobile Money payment prompt with your PIN. Your votes are recorded immediately, and you receive an SMS confirmation.
